Councilmember Elvig introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />Mayor Ramsey <br />Councilmember Elvig <br />Councilmember Look <br />Councilmember Jeffrey <br />Councilmember McGlone <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />None <br />and the following abstained: <br />None <br />RESOLUTION #10 -07 -156 <br />A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE RESIGNATION OF A PLANNING <br />COMMISSIONBOARD OF ADJUSTMENT MEMBER AND OPTIONS TO FILL THE <br />VACANCY <br />WHEREAS, the City has received a letter of resignation from Mr.. Hunt; and <br />WHEREAS, staff recommends that the City Council accept Mr. Hunt's resignation; and <br />WHEREAS, staff is seeking direction regarding how to proceed with filling the vacancy. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey confirms the recommendation of the <br />Personnel Committee to do the following. <br />Make a motion that the City Council consider accepting the resignation of Mr. Hunt and <br />directing staff to either: <br />1. Begin a new recruitment process to fill the vacancy, or <br />2. Attempt to fill the vacancy using the Planning Commission/Board of Adjustment <br />applications that are on file from the last annual recruitment. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Look, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />
