-142- <br /> <br />PROPOSED ORDINANCE #02- <br /> <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br />AN O t4~4~ COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />~.,N' AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 9, WHICH IS KaNOWN AS THE <br />SUBDIVISION OF Lz4aN~D CHAPTER OF THE CITY CODE, CITY <br />MINNESOTA. <br /> <br />ZONING AND <br />OF RAMSEY, <br /> <br />A~N ORDINANCE A3MENDING SECTION 9.20.04 MAP, SECTION 9.20.11 "R-IR <br />RESIDENTL'-kL DISTRICT", SECTION 9.20.12 "R-1U RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT", <br />SECTION 9.20.13 "R-2U RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT", SECTION 9.20.14 "R-3U <br />RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT", SECTION 9.20.15 "MR MULTIPLE RESIDENTIAL <br />DISTRICT", AND SECTION 9.20.31 "PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT". <br /> <br />The City of Ramsey ordains: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. REPEAL. <br /> <br />Section 9.20.11 "R-iR Residential District", Section 9.20.12 "R-1U Residential District", Section <br />9.20.13 "R-2U Residential District", Section 9.20.14 "R-3U Residential District", Section 9.20.15 <br />"MR Multiple Residential District", and Section 9.20.31 "Planned Unit Development" are hereby <br />repealed. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. A~MENDMENT. <br /> <br />Section 9.20.1 l "R-1R Residential District" is replaced with the following text: <br /> <br />9.20.11 R-1 Residential District <br /> <br /> Subdivision 1. Intent. The intent of this district is to accommodate single family <br />dwelling units on. suitable land in the 2020 Metropolitan Urban Service Area (MUSA), rural <br />developing, central rural reserve area, and rural preserve areas of the City. Ail newly created lots, <br />except the remnant of a lot of record not less than five (5) acres in size and located with_in the 2020 <br />MUSA, shall be serviced by sanitary sewer and municipal water. All developing lots located within <br />the rural preserve, rural developing and central rural preserve areas shall be served with individual <br />septic systems and wells. <br /> <br />Subd. 2. Permitted Uses. <br /> <br />a. Single Family detached dwellings. <br />b. Agriculture, excluding the raising of livestock, poultry, and fowl within the <br /> MUSA boundary unless compliance with Ramsey City Code Chapter 5 <br /> (,~aimals and Fowl) can be maintained. <br /> c. Public Parks, Municipal Fire Station. <br /> d. Single Family/Townhome units as part of a PLrD located witkin the 2020 <br /> MUSA. <br />e. State Licensed ~oup homes in accordance with State Statute. <br />f. Licensed home daycares in accordance with State Statute. <br /> <br /> <br />
