I I I I I I I '1 I I I I I I I I I I I CASE # ADOPT ORDINANCE TO REZONE THE PROPOSED PLAT OF WILDLIFE SANCTUARY 3m) ADDITION FROM R-IR SINGLE FAz¥IILY RURAL TO R-1U SINGLE FAMILY URBAN RESIDENTIAL; CASE OF KELSEY GUSTAFSON By: Megan Wald, Associate Planner Background: On May 28, 2002, the City Council adopted Findings of Fact and introduced an ordinance to rezone the proposed plat of Wildlife Sanctuary 3rd Addition from R-IR Single Family Rural to R- 1U Single Family Urban Residential. The rezoning will facilitate development of the subject property with single family urban residential uses. The following items are enclosed for yom' information: a) Site location map b) Site Plan c) Findings of fact adopted 5/28/02 d) Proposed ordinance Notification: State statute requires notification of the public lxearing to owners of property within 350 feet of the subject property. Staff attempted to notify property owners within 350 feet of the request for rezoning. Observations: The 2001 Comprehensive Plan designates the property for development with low density residential uses. In accordance with the City Charter, the rezoning ordinance is now eligible for adoption. Recommendation: City Staff recommends adoption of the ordinance. Council Action: Motion to adopt Ordinance //02- to rezone the proposed plat of Wildlife Sanctuary 3rd Addition from R-IR Single Family Rural to R-1U Single Family Urban.
