Norman, City Administrator <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />During a Council Work Session of May 6, 2002, the City Council directed Staff and the City <br />Attorney to draft language regarding decorum and order during City Council meetings. <br />Amendments have been drafted which will be added to Chapter 2 of'the City Code of Ordinances <br />under the section dealing with presiding officers. The primary additions deal with decorum and <br />order fbr Councilmembers, decorum and order for the public, and enforcement of decorum. <br /> <br />The draft language is included with this case for Council review. <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />Introduction of Ordinance to amend Section 2.01.02 of City Code which section is entitled <br />'"Presiding Officer". <br /> <br />Reviewed by: <br />City Attorney <br />CC: 06/11/02 <br /> <br />-187- <br /> <br /> <br />
