Voting No: None. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />Implementation of a Permit and Fee for Septic Tank Pumping <br /> <br />The Finance Committee recommended that the City Council amend the 2002 Rates and <br />Charges to include a $5.00 Septic Tank Pumping fee. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Anderson, seconded by Councilmember Kurak, to ratify the <br />recommendation of the Finance Committee. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Anderson, and Kurak. Voting <br />No: Councihnembers Hendriksen, and Zimmerman. <br /> <br />3) Sunfish Commons Revolving Loan Discussion <br /> <br />City Administrator Norman stated that the City Council authorized a $150,000 revolving loan to <br />Sunfish Commons Partnership during the Council meeting of November 27, 2001. The funds for <br />the loan were secured by an appropriation of $150,000 to the Revolving Loan Fund during <br />Council action of October 9, 2001. The authorization came after a presentation by Development <br />Consultant Mike Mulrooney and the attorney, Robert Foster, representing the Sunfish Commons <br />Partnership. During the final plat of Sunfish Business Park. Owned by the City, the Council <br />requested further discussion of the loan authorized during the November 27, 2001 meeting. It <br />was noted that the Sunfish Business Park and Sunfish Commons Partnership have only one thing <br />in common, the name "Sunfish". Staff restated that the Sunfish Common revolving loan is <br />completed and there was no reason to reconsider the matter, regardless of the recent decision by <br />Star Exhibits to not locate in the Ramsey Sunfish Business Park. <br /> <br />Councilmember Hendriksen stated that first they heard there was asbestos mitigation, which was <br />the reason for the loan, next it was the award for brining in Star Exhibits, which no longer is <br />happening. He stated that he did not understand the justification for granting the loan after the <br />fact. <br /> <br />City Administrator Norman replied that those questions have been asked and answered many of <br />times. <br /> <br />Motion by Councihnember Kurak, seconded by Councilmember Anderson, to direct staff to <br />proceed with the loan to Sunfish Commons. <br /> <br />City Council/May 14, 2002 <br />Page 33 of 33 <br /> <br />-89- <br /> <br /> <br />
