City approval/denial is necessary under the State Statues. The Golden Eyes <br />Ducks Unlimited, Chapter 109 meets all of the requirements which allows them to remain <br />exempt fi'om licensing, primarily from the standpoint that the commodities to be raffled are <br />valued at less than $12,000. <br /> <br />Approval requires nothing more than a motion followed by a letter to the Gambling Control <br />Board, while if the request is denied, a formal resolution for denial would need to be prepared <br />and submitted to the Gambling Control Board. <br /> <br />-91- <br /> <br /> <br />
