-198- Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION # RESOLTUION AUTHORIZING THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR TO PREPARE AND ADVERTISE BIDS BASED UPON PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE REMODEL OF CITY HALL, PLAN B. WHEREAS, City Council has been considering space needs at City Hall for several years; and WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey has retained the services of E & V Construction Managers and BKV Group to assess current and future space needs at City Hall; and WHEREAS, an interim remodeling project is necessary to accommodate immediate space needs at City Hall pr/or to the consideration of expansion of existing City Hall or construction of a new City Hall; and WHEREAS, City Council has reviewed several interim-remodeling plans and at their March 26, 2002 Council Meeting, authorized the City Administrator to enter into a contract with E & V Construction Managers and BKV Group and ordered the preparation of plans and specifications fol' the remodel of City Hall, Plan B; and WHEREAS, the next step in the process is to prepare and adveintise a bid package roi' the mechanical, electrical, demolition, and architectm'al contracts for the project. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as tbllows: 1) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey authorizes the City Administrator to prepare and advertise bids based upon the plans and specifications for the remodel of City Hall, Plan B. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof.' and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 9th day of April 2002.
