Due to the curve in the north leg of Azurite Street, the intersection of the north and <br />south leg of the intersection are staggered by approximately 1,000 feet. Furthermore, the two legs are <br />bisected by Basalt Street and the north leg lines up with 143r Avenue NW. This has continued to cause <br />confusion amongst motorists and can cause a delay in response for public safety. <br />In order to rectify this situation, the City is proposing to re -name a portion of Azurite Street NW as 143r <br />Avenue NW. A map depicting the proposal is attached to this letter as further clarification. <br />The City Council will hold a Public Hearing on the request and consider introduction of the ordinance on <br />Tuesday, January 11 at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at the Ramsey Municipal Center.
