I <br />I <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I. <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />PROPOSED ORDINANCE #02- <br /> <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />AN AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 5 WHICH IS KNOWN AS THE MUNICIPAL <br />REGULATIONS CHAPTER OF THE CITY CODE OF RAMSEY, MINNESOTA. <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 5.09.04 "BARNS AND STABLES" OF <br />CHAPTER 5 OF THE CITY CODE OF RAMSEY, MINNESOTA. <br /> <br />The City of Ramsey ordains: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. AMENDMENT <br /> <br />Section 5.09.04 (Barns and Stables), Subd. 1, shall be amended to read as follows: <br /> <br /> Subd. 1. No stable or barn in which hoses, sheep, cows, goats or other animals are <br />kept may be located within -50 feet of a. place of human habitation and 75 feet of neighboring <br />property lines. Such stables and bams, where lawful, shall be kept clean. Manure shall be <br />removed with sufficient frequency to avoid nuisance from odors or from the breeding of flies at <br />least once every two weeks. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. SUMMARY <br /> <br />The following official summary of Ordinance #01-__ has been approved by the City Council of <br />the City of Ramsey as clearly informing the public of the intent and effect of the Ordinance. <br /> <br />It is the intent and effect of Ordinance #01-__ to amend Ramsey City Code to relocate the <br />setback for barns from neighboring property lines from Chapter 9 (Zoning and Subdivision of <br />Land), Section 9.20.11 (R-1 Rural Residential District).to Chapter 5 (Municipal Regulations), <br />Section 5.09.04 (Barns and Stables). <br /> <br />SECTION 3.
