'Unfortunately I will be out of town
on the 24th and will not be able to attend the public hearing. I would
appreciate it if you could forward my concerns to the board in my
absence.

As we discussed on the phone, my pdmary concern is that almost all of
the proposed changes are for higher density. This might be great for
the developers who can make more money the tighter they can pack the
units on a given piece of land, but the rest of us living in Ramsey will
have to deal with increased traffic, congestion, and overcrowding of our
schools for many years to come.. This will undoubtedly eventually result
in increased taxes to pay for road improvements and expanding schools,
which essentially means that all of the existing residents will be
forced to shell out more of our hard-earned money so that a handful of
developers can make more money.

Thanks for your consideration,

Patrick Janke
6420 162nd Avenue
Ramsey
572-6976 (Days)

CC:

<jopat@cpinternet.com>

-259-
