I <br />I <br /> <br />John Lichter, 15665 Juniper Ridge Drive NW, Ramsey, stated that he saw very little measures of <br />density transitioning being proposed in the development. He stated that he would like to find out <br />what the City intends to do in regards to density transitioning. He also noted that he did not see <br />any information regarding storm water retention. He thinks some cul-de-sacs are necessary in <br />the development, but in regards to street assessments, their streets were recently redone and <br />assessed for and now they will be pushing more traffic onto those streets. MaYbe the City should <br />refund some of the money. In regards to density transitioning he would like to know what the <br />Council intends to do in this case. <br /> <br />Kerry Manuel, 15668 Juniper Ridge Drive NW, Ramsey, stated that when he originally <br />purchased his property the land was platted with one acre lots. It has a long history and they are <br />at a point of resolving the issue. The residents that border the development to the north have <br />agreed to buy some land and not continue with lawsuits.' Now they are requesting that there be <br />some cul-de-sacs on the north side of the development to prevent additional traffic in their <br />neighborhood. He expressed that traffic should be directed to 153ra where the City has spent a lot <br />of money for a new stop light. Apple Ridge only has one access from the development so the <br />City has allowed it in the past and should be consistent. It is time that they fred some resolution <br />and move forward. <br /> <br />Don Hatch, 15500 Barium Street NW, Ramsey, stated that he has been a resident of Ramsey <br />since 1975. He explained that one of the reasons he moved out to Rarnsey was because of the <br />space. He stated that several of the Councilmembers ran on density transitioning and <br />Councilmember Hendriksen asked the Council to stand forward ~d give the residents density <br />transitioning. He reviewed some of the different layout options expressing that there is no real <br />purpose for the 155~ Lane connection. If there is an increase in volume of traffic they will have <br />to pay for the additional wear and tear on the roads. He stated that he would have to be in favor <br />of Option B, which shows 40 cars accessing 155~ Lane. <br /> <br />Ross Dehn, 5251 - 156~ Lane NW, Ramsey, stated that there is already enough traffic along 156t~ <br />Lane. He stated that he would like to see 155~ Lane cul-de-saced with maybe an emergency <br />access. There are numerous little Children in the neighborhood and he is very concerned for their <br />safety. He was in favor of having two streets on the north be cul-de-sacs. Mr. Dehn inquired as <br />to what the park expansion will include, because the existing playground equipment is in tough <br />shape. <br /> <br />Marty Mechtel, 15235 Zuni Street NW, Ramsey, .stated that he moved to Ramsey for the <br />quietness. He stated that with the development, there will be more traffic and more problems and <br />he would like to see the lots be one-acre lots. .. <br /> <br />George Pomeroy, 5430 - 155~' Lane NW, Ramsey, stated that he received no-notices of the <br />development and lives on 155~ Lane. If the 155~ Lane is put through they will have an <br />enormous amount of traffic, which is not what they need.
