Councilmember . introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #02-02.XXX RESOLUTION APPROVING 8TM PARTIAL PAYMENT TO FOREST LAKE CONTRACTING, INC. FOR IM2PROVEMENT PROJECT #9%51 (153/155TM AVENUE N.W. EXTENSION) WHEREAS, on August 8, 2000, the Ramsey City CounciI adopted Resolution #00-08-- 191 authorizing plans and specifications and advertisement for bids on Imp.rovement Project #99- 51; and WI-tEREAS, on November 14, 2000, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #00- 11.-292 awarding the bid for Improvement Project ~99-51, 't53/155th Avenue N.W. Extension to Forest Lake Contracting, Inc..in the amount of $716,399.48; and WHEREAS, City Engineer, Steve Jankowski has inspected the completed work and recommends the 8~ partial payment to Forest Lake Contracting, Inc. in the amount of $15,217.78. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: I) That the City Council hereby authorizes the 8th partial payment to Forest Lake Contracting, Inc. for Improvement Project gO9-51., 153/155th Avenue N.W. Extension project in the amount of $15,217.78. 2) That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. 3) That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolUtions approving payment of bills for the date of February 12, 2002. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of this resolution.
