Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION # <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING COMPENSATION PLAN FOR NON-UNION <br /> EMPLOYEES FOR 2002 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on December 11, 2001, the City Council approved the 2002 budget; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the 2002 budget included a cost of living increase (COLA) of 3% <br />with a 4% step plan with step increases occurring on anniversary dates of employment; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this compensation plan is consistent with the percentages used for <br />the cost of living increase (COLA) and step plan established in 2001. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That it was determined that the 2002 Compensation Plan fOr non-union <br />employees (a copy of which is available in the Human Resource Manager's <br />office) should include a 3% cost of living increase (COLA) and a 4% step plan <br />with increases occurring on anniversary dates of employment. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was dUly seconded by <br />Councilmember , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council this the 22nd day of January 2002. <br /> <br />-117- <br /> <br /> <br />
