-146- <br /> <br />Councilmember Kurak introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #01-12-427 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT #0590 RELATING TO A <br />REQUEST TO REZONE CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM B-1 BUSINESS TO R-3U <br />URBAN RESIDENTIAL. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on November 13, 200I, the City of Ramsey (the "City") received an <br />application from Eighty Seven LLC rezone certain property in accordance with Section 9.03.03 <br />(Zoning Amendments) of the Ramsey City Code. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />That Eighty Seven LLC and Blaine Edmundson, hereinafter referred to as "Applicants," <br />have properly applied to rezone the following legally described property from B-1 Business <br />to R-3 Urban Residential: <br /> <br />Outlot A, Brandseth Addition, Anoka County, Minnesota <br /> <br />(the "Subject Property") <br /> <br />That the Planning Commission conducted a punic heating pursuant to Section 9.03.03 of <br />the City Code on December 4, 200I, and said public hearing was properly advertised, and <br />the minutes of said public hearing are hereby incorporated by reference. <br /> <br />That the total area of the property to be rezoned is approximately 8.75 acres. <br /> <br />That the proposed rezoning is located within the Metropolitan Urban Service Area (MUSA) <br />boundary. ' <br /> <br />That the Subject Property is currently zoned B-1 Business. <br /> <br />That the adjacent property to the south and west is currently zoned R-1 Residential and the <br />property on the north side of 153rd Avenue N.W. is zoned B-1 Business and the property on <br />the east side of T.H. #47 is zoned B-1 Business. <br /> <br />That the Applicant has submitted a general development plan that proposes to develop the <br />property with townhomes at a density that will not exceed the R-3 Urban Residential <br />maximum of 7 units per acre. <br /> <br />That the current Comprehensive Plan identifies the Subject Property for development with <br />commercial uses. <br /> <br /> <br />
