REQUEST TO REZONE PROPERTY FROM <br /> B-1 BUSINESS TO R-3 URBAN RESIDENTIAL: <br /> CASE OF ORRIN THOMPSON HOMES <br />By: Megan Wald, Community Development Assistant <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />On December 11, 2001, the City Council introduced an ordinance to rezone property located <br />south of Sunwood Drive and west of State Highway #47 (Katnis Property) fi:om B-1 Business to <br />R-3 Urban Residential. The rezoning 'would allow the property to be developed with a <br />townhouse development. <br /> <br />The following items are enclosed for your information: <br /> <br />1. Site location map <br />2. City Council meeting minutes dated December 11, 2001 <br />3. Findings of Fact <br />4. Proposed ordinance <br /> <br />Notification: <br /> <br />Property owners located within 500 feet of the subject property were notified of the proposei2 <br />rezoning.
