Among other things the amendment restricted construction of commercial <br />towers on residential property to parcels at least 10 acres in size that are located in an area to be <br />identified as a Tower Overlay District.. The Tower Overlay District is shown on the attached <br />map. <br /> <br />Observations: , <br /> <br />The Tower Overlay District roughly conforms to the Rural Preserve Area identified in the draft <br />Comprehensive Plan. Staff, with Planning Commission input, has modified the boundaries to <br />more closely follow quarter-quarter section lines and to avoid splitting properties.
