Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #01-01- (rC-O~-O~) A RESOLUTION ADOPTENG FENDINGS OF FACT # TO REZONE CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM R-1 RURAL RESIDENTIAL TO R-1 URBAN RESIDENTIAL I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I WHEREAS, the City received an application to rezone certain property in accordance with Section 9.03.03 of the Ramsey City Code. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF M]2NNESOTA, as follows: 1. That Dave and Betty Pehlke, hereinafter referred to as "Applicant," has properly applied to rezone certain property from R-1 Rural Residential to R-1 Urban Residential. That the Planning Commission conducted a public hearing pursuant to Section 9.03.03 of the City Code on January 2, 2001, which public hearing was properly advertised. The minutes of said public hearing are hereby incorporated herein by reference. 3. That the property proposed to be rezoned is legally described as follows: That part of the Southwest Quarter of Section 24, Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota, described as follows: At a point on the West line of said Southwest Quarter, said point being 1208 feet South of the Northwest Comer of said Southwest Quarter and said point also being the intersection of said West line with the centerline of 152na Avenue N.W., according to the plat of Gorhams Addition, extended Westerly, thence South on said West line of Southwest Quarter for a distance of 259.4 feet, thence East at right angles 140 feet, thence North'at right angles 311.1 feet; thence West at right angles 140 feet to the said West line of the Southwest Quarter, thence South 51.7 feet to place of beginning, together with an easement for road purposes over the said 152nd Avenue N.W. extended westerly to the West line of above described tract; and That part of the Southwest Quarter of Section 24, Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota, described as follows: From the intersection of the West line of said SoUthwest Quarter with the center line of 152~a Avenue N.W., according to the plat of Gorham Addition, extended westerly to said West line of Southwest Quarter; thence South on said West line of Southwest Quarter for a distance of 259.4 feet to actual place of beginning; thence East at right angles for a distance of 160 feet; thence South at right angles for a distance of 272.25 feet; thence West at fight angles for a distance of 160 feet to said West line of Southwest Quarter; thence North 272.25 feet to place of beginning; and That part of the East 20 feet' of the Southeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 23, Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota lying North of the following described RESOLUTION #01-01- Page 1 of 3 -135-
