Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #01-01- <br /> (rC-O~-O~) <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTENG FENDINGS OF FACT # TO REZONE CERTAIN <br />PROPERTY FROM R-1 RURAL RESIDENTIAL TO R-1 URBAN RESIDENTIAL <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City received an application to rezone certain property in accordance <br />with Section 9.03.03 of the Ramsey City Code. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF M]2NNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1. That Dave and Betty Pehlke, hereinafter referred to as "Applicant," has properly applied to <br /> rezone certain property from R-1 Rural Residential to R-1 Urban Residential. <br /> <br />That the Planning Commission conducted a public hearing pursuant to Section 9.03.03 of the <br />City Code on January 2, 2001, which public hearing was properly advertised. The minutes of <br />said public hearing are hereby incorporated herein by reference. <br /> <br />3. That the property proposed to be rezoned is legally described as follows: <br /> <br />That part of the Southwest Quarter of Section 24, Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County, <br />Minnesota, described as follows: At a point on the West line of said Southwest Quarter, said <br />point being 1208 feet South of the Northwest Comer of said Southwest Quarter and said <br />point also being the intersection of said West line with the centerline of 152na Avenue N.W., <br />according to the plat of Gorhams Addition, extended Westerly, thence South on said West <br />line of Southwest Quarter for a distance of 259.4 feet, thence East at right angles 140 feet, <br />thence North'at right angles 311.1 feet; thence West at right angles 140 feet to the said West <br />line of the Southwest Quarter, thence South 51.7 feet to place of beginning, together with an <br />easement for road purposes over the said 152nd Avenue N.W. extended westerly to the West <br />line of above described tract; and <br /> <br />That part of the Southwest Quarter of Section 24, Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County, <br />Minnesota, described as follows: From the intersection of the West line of said SoUthwest <br />Quarter with the center line of 152~a Avenue N.W., according to the plat of Gorham Addition, <br />extended westerly to said West line of Southwest Quarter; thence South on said West line of <br />Southwest Quarter for a distance of 259.4 feet to actual place of beginning; thence East at <br />right angles for a distance of 160 feet; thence South at right angles for a distance of 272.25 <br />feet; thence West at fight angles for a distance of 160 feet to said West line of Southwest <br />Quarter; thence North 272.25 feet to place of beginning; and <br /> <br />That part of the East 20 feet' of the Southeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 23, <br />Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota lying North of the following described <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #01-01- <br />Page 1 of 3 <br /> <br />-135- <br /> <br /> <br />
