This extension per/od, therefore, will end on <br />Friday, March 2, 2001. <br /> <br />It is our intent to use the extension time to work with the Metropolitan Council to make the plan <br />consistent with regional Blueprint policies and systems plans including the Water Resources <br />Management Plan and other applicable plans and policies prior to formal Cotmcil review. The <br />City will work with the Council to address the findings and recommendations in the January 16, <br />2001 draft Comprehensive Plan findings document. Some of the issues to be addressed include: <br />i) adoption of an ISTS notification and tracking program; 2) identification of an urban reserve <br />study area where the feasibility of future wastewater services will be studied to accommodate <br />growth after 2015; 3) urban land availability and densities to accommodate growth forecasted to <br />2020 and address affordable and life-cycle housing and job/housing/transportation cmmections; <br />Mississippi River corridor plan comments. We understand that the City has several options for <br />addressing these issues in cooperation 'with the Metropolitan Council staff.
