-344- <br /> <br />Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION #01-01-XXX <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AMENDING 2001 SCHEDULE OF RATES, FEES AND CHARGES <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the current Schedule of Rates and Charges was adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council under Resolmion #00~12-336 on December [2, 2000; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the 2001 adopted Enterprise budgets pertaining to Water, Sewer, Street <br />Lights, Recycling, and Storm Water Utility were not completed as of this date; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, after completion of 2001 Enterphse budgets pertaining to the Water and <br />Sewer Utility Funds, it was determined that a rate increase was necessary to offset the addition of <br />a second water tower, a fifth well and an increase in overall costs in the operation of these <br />utilities; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at the City Council Meeting of January 23, 2001, staff recommended <br />approval of the attached Schedule of Rates, Fees, and Charges with the outlined amendments to <br />the Water and Sewer Utility Funds. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the attached 2001 Schedule of Rates, Fees and Charges is hereby amended to <br /> establish the necessary increases in rate charges pertaining to Water and Sewer. <br /> <br />The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded b~y and upon vote being <br />taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />this the 23rd day of January, 2001. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />t <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />! <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />! <br />I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> <br /> <br />
