-196- Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #01-02-XXX RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING $22~000 FROM THE COUNCIL FUND TO THE BUDGET OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CONTINGENCY TO FUND THE SERVICES OF LEN LEVINE AT THE RATE OF $2,000 PER MONTH. WHEREAS, during the year 2001, the Ramsey City Council acted on matters impacting expe~ditures budgets of the City's General Fund for items that were not included in the original budget for the year ended December 31, 2001; WHEREAS, included in the 2001 General Fund budget was $101,745 under the Council Contingency, or Expenditure Reserve Fund to be used for items that were not included in the various departments budgeted line items;and wHEREAS, $22,000 was authorized as the amount to be funded for the serviCes of Len Levine for matters pertaining to transportation and development issues; and WHEREAS, the City will enter into a contract with Mr. Levine and pay a fee of $2,000 per month. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: That $22,000 will be transferred from the Council Contingency Fund to the budget of Community Developemnt Processing for the funding of the services of Len Levine. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor ~hereof: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 13th day of February, 2001.
