-200- <br /> <br />Proposed ISTS language <br /> <br />8.30.02A Maintenance <br /> <br />Required Frequency Of Pumping/Cleaning and Inspection. <br />Each owner of property containing an Individual Sewage <br />Treatment Syste.m (ISTS) shall cause said system to be <br />pumped/cleaned at intervals not to exceed every, three years or <br />upon receipt of an inspection report indicating an immediate need <br />for pumping/cleaning. Within thirty (30 days) after pumping a <br />system, the septic tank pumper shall file a Pumping Report, upon <br />forms supplied by the City, on each system serviced and provide <br />all the applicable details requested, including information about <br />any deficiencies or needed maintenance. These forms shall <br /> <br />become part of the permanent City records. The initial pumping <br />report shall be filed at the City no later than October 31, 2003. A <br />receipt issued by the pumper for a pumping job performed within a <br />12 month period previous to the effective date of this ordinance <br />shall suffice as the initial pumping report.. <br /> <br />Notification Process.
