Olson, City Engineer <br /> Bill Goodrich, City Attorney <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Improvement Project 00-35 consists of two phases. The first phase of the project is to provide <br />street, sewer, and water to the T & G Land site. This phase of the construction .can be completed <br />without the acquisition of the Commercial Asphalt property. <br /> <br />The purpose of this case is to present an agreement to the City Council for consideration of <br />exchanging land with Tiller Corporation aka Commercial Asphalt, Inc. to acquire the right of <br />way necessary to construct 141 st Avenue NW. Attached to this case is a drawing illustrating the <br />proposed land exchange. <br /> <br />Mr. Goodrich will make the agreement available for the Council at the meeting on Tuesday <br />night. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />To consider the request to exchange land with Commercial Asphalt for the right of way that we need for <br />the construction of 141st Avenue NW to the east entrance into the T & G Land site. <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />Based upon discussion. <br /> <br />Reviewed by: <br />City Ad~ninistrator <br />Director of Public Works <br />Finance Officer <br /> <br />CC: 03/27/01 <br /> <br />-107- <br /> <br /> <br />
