I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> I <br /> I <br />I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> <br />Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #01-03-XXX <br /> <br />RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING $6,000 FROM THE COUNCIL <br />FUND TO THE BUDGET OF CIVIL DEFENSE TO FUND THE <br />SANDBAGS IN PREPARATION OF SPRING FLOODING. <br /> <br />CONTINGENCY <br />PURCHASE OF <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, during the year 2001, the Ramsey City Council acted on matters impacting <br />expenditures budgets of the City's General Fund for items that were not included in the original <br />budget for the year ended December 31, 2001; ' <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, included in the 2001 General Fund budget was $101,745 under the Council <br />Contingency, or Expenditure Reserve Fund to be used for items that were not included in the <br />various departments budgeted line items; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, $6,000 was authorized by City Council on March 20, 2001, as the amount <br />to be funded for the purchase of sand bags in preparation of possible spring flooding; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, $6,000 will be transferred to the 2001 operating budget of Civil Defense to <br />record the purchase of said sandbags. ~: <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />That $6,000 will be transferred from the Council Contingency Fund to the budget of Civil <br />Defense for the funding of sand bags in preparation of spring flooding. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember, <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />this the 27th day of March, 2001. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />City Administrator <br /> <br />-65- <br /> <br /> <br />
