Norman City Administrator City of Ramsey 15153 Nowthen Boulevard NW Ramsey, MN 55303 Agency Construction Management Services City Hall Additions and Renovations Dear Mr. Norman and Selection Committee Members: The City of Ramsey is taking a big step to enhance the services it provides to the community through the additions and renovations to the existing City Hall. The construction management . firm selected to assist you in this venture must have experience and the ability to tailor a management approach that serves your City's needs. E&V is prepared to be that firm. As you review the qualifications of construction managers, please consider the following: E&V has a proven track record having served as agency construction managers on over 400 public projects. E&V served as the agency construction manager for your neighboring' community, Coon Rapids, when they successfully constructed their city center facility. E&V will staff your project with current E&V personnel that are experienced in constructing and renovating occupied facilities using,the agency construction manageme~nt' . approach. These individuals include: Ms. Cheryl Badinger, your project manager, has served a number of municipal and public clients. Most notable, Cheryl has served as project manager on four separate projects for the City of New Hope and is requested by name when they need management and construction expertise. Cheryl understands the pressures put on city staff members. Her attention to detail and ability to communicate with public bodies will reduce your risk exposure and leverage you time during this process. Your field construction manager, Mr. Douglas Cederstrand, has more than 30 years of construction experience. He is a long time resident of the Anoka County area and is excited about the possibility to serve a municipal client so close to his residence. Doug will routinely communicate with staff members to keep them infor/ii~d-i~f the day to day progress of the project. He will listen to the City' s concerns and minimize the affects construction has on the operations of your existing facility. E&V has met with representatives of the City of Ramsey and understands the concerns of staff members with regards to the renovation of the existing facility and the affects the project will have on existing City operations.
