SCOPE OF SERVICES Construction Phase Services Pre-Construction Activities E&V will assist the Owner in obtaining necessary permits. We will conduct pre- construction meetings with awarded contractors prior to their initiation of on-site activity. Benefit: Contractors will be educated in project procedures~object,'yes. On-Site Office and Staff Prior to construction activity, we will establish an on-site office with full-time staffto plan, manage and coordinate the activities of multiple contractors. Benefit: Dedicated space Jbr the sole purpose of conducting "project" related business. Contractor Coordination To promote efficient coordination of multiple contractors on the project site, we will conduct and document both weekly progress and monthly project meetings. Benefit: Issues affeclingproject can be addressed by the team at these meetings. Shop Drawing Process E&V's on-site staffwilt initiate and manage the shop drawing and sample submittal - process for timely submittal o~the necessary paperwork. '- Benefit: Contractors supply only approved materials. Expediting E&V will expedite the shop drawing approval, fabrication and ultimate delivery of Owner-furnished material and equipment. Benefit: Keeps project on schedule. Payment Process E&V will manage the monthly payment to contractors through an automated payment process designed to efficiently and effectively handle multiple prime contracts. Benefit: The Monthly Cost Control Report provides an audit grade accounting.of the project. Change Orders E&V will obtain, verify pricing from contractors for changes in scope arising from design, code requirements and Owner-directed changes. Benefit: An independent agent of the Owner verifjving prwing for the Owner. Project Records and Documents Complete and accurate records of the project will be maintained during construction.
