Mayor introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #01-04- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION GRANTING A ONE YEAR EXTENSION TO RECORD THE FINAL <br />PLAT OF RIVER PINES 4TM ADDITION (FORMERLY REFERRED TO AS APPLE <br />RIDGE 5TM ADDITION) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Oakwood Land Development, Inc., hereinafter referred to as "'Developer", <br />properly applied for f'mal plat approval on the following described property located in the City of <br />Ramsey: · <br /> <br />Outlot A, Apple Ridge, Anoka County, Minnesota. <br /> <br />(the "Subject Property") <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on May 12, 1998, the Ramsey City Council granted final plat approval to <br />the Subject Property as Apple Ridge 5~h Addition; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, subsequent to final plat approval, the Subject Property was sold to US <br />Home Corporation and an intent to change the title of the 2nd, 3fa, 4~h and 5~h phases of Apple <br />Ridge to River Pines Pt, 2~a, 3~a and 4th was demonstrated in the recording of the final plats for <br />Apple Ridge 2"d and 3,d Additions as River'Pines 1A ~a 2.d Additions; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Section 9.50.04 (Final Plat), Subd. 3 (Recording) of the Ramsey City Code <br />states that a final plat shall be recorded with the County Recorder within two years following the <br />date of plat approval unless the City Council extends that period; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on January 13, 2000, the City received a written request from the current <br />developer, US Home Corporation (dba Orrin Thompson Homes), for a one year extension to <br />record the final plat of River Pines 3ra and 4'a Additions (aka Apple Ridge 4th and 5ta Additions <br />during final plat review and approval); and · <br /> <br /> WltEREAS, on February 22, 2000, the City Council granted an extension to May 12, <br />2001 to record the final plats of River Pines 3rd and 4th Additions; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the recording of River Pines 3rd Addition has been initiated and shall be <br />accomplished by May 12, 2001; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey has received the mytars for recording the final plat of <br />River Pines 4~ Addition, but the process is not on a timeline that will comply with the May 12, <br />2001 extension deadline; and <br /> <br />-227- <br /> <br /> <br />
