1 <br /> <br />CONSIDER EXCHANGE OF LAND FOR RIGHT OF WAY FOR IMPROVEMENT <br />PROJECT 00-35 <br /> By: Brian E. Olson, City Engineer <br /> Bill Goodrich, City Attorney <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />The agreement between Tiller Corporation and the City of Ramsey would make it possible to <br />complete both phases of Improvement Project 00-35 and would address the concerns of T&G <br />Land as it relates to access from Basalt Street NW. <br /> <br />The purpose of this case is to obtain authorization to enter into that agreement. Attached to this <br />case is the agreement and a drawing illustrating the proposed land exchange. The revised <br />agreement is very similar to the agreement that was handed out at the City Council meeting on <br />March 27, 2001. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />Staff recommends that the City of Ramsey enter into the agreement with Tiller Corporation for exchange <br />of land to make it possible to construct 141st Avenue NW. <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />Motion to enter into an agreement with Tiller Corporation for exchange of land to make it possible to <br />construct 141st Avenue NW. <br /> <br />Reviewed by: <br />City Administrator <br />Director of Public Works <br />Finance Officer <br /> <br />CC: 04/24/01 <br /> <br />-241 - <br /> <br /> <br />
