APPLICATION FOR A <br />PREMISE PERMIT FOR LAWFUL GAMBLING AT M&L LIQUOR IN RAMSEY <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Ramsey Lions Club. has applied for a premise permit for gambling at <br />M&L Liquor, 5900-167~ Avenue NW, Ramsey; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Ramsey Lions Club. has requested Council waive the 30-day notice <br />provision; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Gambling Control Board Division of the Department of Gaming <br />requires the City of Ramsey adopt a resolution specifically approving or denying the application. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby approves the premise permit application for the <br /> Ramsey Lions Club, Inc. to operate lawful gambling at M&L Liquor, 5900-167~h Avenue <br /> NW, Ramsey. <br /> <br />2) That the Ramsey City Council agrees to waive the 30-day notice provision. <br /> <br />3) That the Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes the City Administrator or Finance <br /> Officer to sign the application and any other documents required by the Minnesota <br /> Gambling Control Board. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by and upon vote <br />being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />this the 24th da~, of April, 2001. <br /> <br />C-it <br /> <br />-70- <br /> <br /> <br />
