I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF A IVIEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, MINI'qESOTA HELD: April 24, 2001 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Ramsey, Anoka County, Minnesota, was duly held on the 24th day of April, 2001, at 7:00 p.m. The following members of the Council were present: and the following were absent: Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION APPROVING THE MODIFICATION TO THE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM FOR DEVELOPIVIENT DISTRICT NO. 1, APpROVING THE AMENDMENT TO THE TAX INCREMENT FINANCING PLAN FOR TAX INCREMENT FINANCING DISTRICT NO. 2 WITHIN DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT NO. 1; AND RATIFYING NOTICE PUBLICATION WHEREAS: A. The City of Ramsey, Minnesota (the "City"), has heretofore on August 27, 1985 estabhshed Development District No. 1 and adopted a Development Program therefor and established Tax Increment Financing District No. 2 therein and adopted a Tax Increment Financing Plan therefor, and it has been proposed that the City modify the Development Program for Development District No. 1, amend the Tax Increment Financing Plan for Tax Increment Financing District No. 2 within Development District No. 1; and B. The City Council has investigated the facts and has caused to be prepared a proposed Modification to the Development Program for Development District No. 1 and a proposed Amendment to the Tax Increment Financing Plan tbr Tax Increment Financing District No. 2 de£ming more precisely increased public costs to be included in Development District No. 1; and C. The City has performed all actions required by law to be performed prior to the proposed adoption of the Modification to the Development Program for Development District No. 1, the proposed adoption of the Amendment to the Tax Increment Financing Plan for Tax Increment Financ/ng District No. 2, including, but not limited to, notification of Anoka County and Independent School District No. 11 having taxing jurisdiction over the property to be included in Tax Increment Financing ,Distric! No. 2 and the holding of a public heating upon published and mailed notice as required by law; and follows: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Ramsey as I Development District No. I. The City of Ramsey is not modifying the boundaries of Development District No. 1. 1212291.2
