City Engineer Olson stated that the ordinance would be a way of' keeping track of' g-fading projects, but it is an increase amount of work for people who want to do minor gading as well as for staff. Councilmember Zimmerman inquired if the City can. use the same regulations on urban lots as they do on a five acre parcel. Councilmember Hendriksen stated that when there is a Development A~eement that shows the topo~aphy of the property that should not be deviated from without a permit. 'Councilmember Zimmen'nan suggested sending the issue to the Planning commission for their consideration. Councilmember Hendriksen stated when the City receives a ~ading plan for a subdivision it should not be changed and ill a change is requested then the developer should have to go through a process to receive a permit to make the change. Councilmember Zimmerman stated that there needs to be more inspections to make sure the prope~y is gaded properly. Consensus of the Committee was that any deviation from the Fading Plan should possibly require a permit and recommended forwarding the issue to the Planning Commission. COMMITTEE INPUT 1) Update on Storm Water Utility City En~neer Olson gave an update to the Committee on the communications that he has had with some of the local business owners. 2) Update on Improvement Project #00-23 (149~h Avenue NW Storm Sewer) City. Engineer Olson updated the Commit-tee on the status of the project. 3) Street Light added onto 2000 Priority Street Lights - 177:" Avenue NW City Engineer Jankowsld stated that he received a call from a resident on 177th Avenue who was interested in a light being added on 177th Avenue NW. Staff a~eed with the need for the street light and requested approval from the Committee to add the li~-~t to the 2000 Priority Street Light pro.am.
