Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br /> #01-05-XXX <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ACQUISITION OF PROPERTY FOR THE <br />CONSTRUCTION OF PROJECT #00-35, 141ST AVENUE NW AND EBONY STREET <br />NW STREET AND UTILITY CONSTRUCTION <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on July 25, 2000, the City Council authorized Staff to enter into <br />negotiations with the property owners required to construct Improvement Project 00-35; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the property owner of the real. property which needs to be acquired has <br />been identified by the City as follows: <br /> <br />PIN FEE OWNER <br />27-32-25-43 4)014 Eugene Brown <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City Staff have completed negotiations with Mr. Brown and come to an <br />agreement to pay him $5,025.75 for the permanent and temporary easement along with tree <br />damage m~d have a signed purchase agreement; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) In order to carry out the purposes and objectives described above, it is necessary to acquire <br /> the Subject Property. <br /> <br />2) That the City Administrator is hereby directed to acquire the Subject Property is authorized <br /> to negotiate and represent the City of Ramsey in all proceedings. <br /> <br />The motion of the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Connolly and upon vote being taken thereon, the following in favor thereof:. <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by. the Ramsey City Council <br />this the 22nd day of May, 2001. <br /> <br /> Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />City Administrator <br /> <br />-73- <br /> <br /> <br />
