-122- <br /> <br />The Planning Commission reviewed the proposed ordinances on May 1 and although it isn't <br />required, they directed City Staff to schedule a public hearing. <br /> <br />The Planning Commission held the public hearing on June 5 and there were no written or verbal <br />comments submitted to the Commission. <br /> <br />Notification: <br /> <br />The public hearing was advertised in the Anoka Union and the City, newsletter. Staff also <br />submitted an arricle for the City newsletter, Ramsey Resident, regarding the proposed changes in <br />animal regulations. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />City Staff, Horse Care Board and Planning Commission recommend adoption of the proposed <br />amendments to the animal regulations. <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />Motion to introduce Ordinance #01- to amend Sections5.09.01 (Keepiixg of Certain Animals, <br />Livestock and Poultry,), 6.09.04 (Barns and Stables), and 5.09.05 (Horses). <br /> <br />Review Checklist: <br />Community Development Assistant <br />Principal Planner <br />City Attorney <br /> <br />CC: 06/12/01 <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />! <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br /> <br />
