CITY COUNCIL CITY OF RAMSEY ANOKA COUNTY STATE OF MINNESOTA The Ramsey City Council conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, April 24, 200i, Ramsey Fire Station Number II, 15050 Nowthen Boulevard NV/, Ramsey, Minnesota. Members Present: Mayor Thomas Gamec Councilmember Susan 1~. Anderson Councilmember Terry Hendr/ksen Councilmember Patti Kurak Councilmember Gerald Zimmerman Also Present: City' Administrator James E. Norman Communi~ Development Director Sylvia Frolik Director of Public Works/Fire Chief Dean Kapler City Engineer Brian Olson City Attorney William Goodrich Police Chief David Gustafson at the CALL TO ORDER Mayor Gamec called the regular meeting of the City Council to order at 7:00 p.m. and lead in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. CITIZEN INPUT Alena Hunter, 14628 Helium Street NW, Ramsey, presented the Council with an additional 391 signatures supporting a Town Center concept and the passage of the Comprehensive Plan. A total of 1,320 signatures have been received. Councilmember Hendriksen stated that he has been hearing that some of the members presenting the petition have stated that some of the Councilmembers are not in favor of a bridge crossing. Ms. Hunter replied that she has never stated that. Councilmember Hendriksen stated that the entire Council has been in support of the proposed location of the bridge. There is funding in place to complete the enviromnental study, which will ' kick off in June and take about two years.
