Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #4: <br /> <br />Request to Appeal Board of Adjustment Decision to Deny a Variance to <br />Height Restrictions for a Manufacturing Building; Case of Amcor Precast, <br />Continued <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich recommended that finding of fact #13 read as follows: "That the City <br />recognized the existence of a mutual aid agreement with the fire departments of surrounding <br />communities that have reach capabilities for that fire suppression with regard to the subject <br />building and which other departments are capable of meeting public safety requirements with <br />regard to fire hazards of the subject building." <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Hendriksen, seconded by Councilmember Kurak, to amend #13 of <br />the findings of fact to state that as recommended by. the City Attorney. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting No: Councilmember Zimmerman. <br /> <br />Case #7: <br /> <br />Request for Final Plat Approval of Nordvik Addition; Case of Derek <br />Nordvik <br /> <br />Community Development Director Frolik stated that Derek Nordvik has submitted a subdivision <br />application to split his 5.4 acre homestead into two lots. He intends to build a home for his <br />mother on the new lot created. The minor subdivision will subdivide the existing five acre <br />homestead into two 2.5 acre lots. There is a house on the southern part of the subject property. <br />After the platting, the existing house will be located on Lot 1, Block 1 of the new plat. Lot 2, <br />Block 1 would be a new buildable lot.
