Mayor Gamec stated that he did not think that anything dealing with <br />Personnel should be placed on television. Councilmember Anderson inquired of the City <br />Attorney if Section 2.2 of the City Charter requires vacancies be published in the City newsletter. <br />She explained that at the last meeting they purposely put it in the legal newspaper because it was <br />quicker, but the vacancy has not been announced in the City newsletter. City Attorney Goodrich <br />replied that the Committee should postpone conducting interviews until the vacancy can be <br />advertised in the City newsletter. <br /> <br />Motion was withdrawn by Mayor Gamec and Councilmember Kurak. <br /> <br />Motion by Mayor Gamec, seconded by Councilmember Kurak, to direct staff to publish the <br />Planning Commission vacancy in the City newsletter as required by the City Charter and to not <br />begin the selection process until that has been done. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes:. Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Kurak, Anderson, Hendriksen, <br />and Zimmerman.
