Councilmember <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #01-07- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING 4TM PARTIAL PAYMENT TO ER.ICI{SON <br />CONSTRUCTION, INC. FOR IMPROVEM]ENT PROJECT #00-21 (143m° AVENUE <br />N.W. STREET AND UTILITY CONSTRUCTIOM) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on September I3, 2000, the Ramsey City Council approved Resolution <br />#00-0%229 approving the plans and specifications for the above reference work; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on October 24, 2000, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #00-10- <br />283 awarding the bid for improvement Project #00-21, 147 Avenue N.W. Street and Utility <br />Construction project to Erickson Construction,-I. nc. in the amount of $497,580.48; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City Engineer Brian Olson inspected the completed work and <br />recommended Jrt'st partial payment to Erickson Construction, Inc. in the amount of $52,707.26; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City Engineer Brian Olson inspected the completed work and <br />recommended second partial payment to Erickson Construction, Inc. in the amount of <br />$185,320.11. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City En~neer Brian Olson inspected the completed work and <br />recommended third partial payment to Erickson Construction, Inc. in the amount of $200,604.34 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City Engineer Brian Olson inspected the completed work and <br />recommended fourth partial payment to Erickson Construction, Inc. in the amount of $3,592.52 <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RA3/ISEY, ANOBL~ COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />l) <br /> <br />That the City Council hereby authorizes partial pa, yment to Erickson Construction, Inc. <br />for Improvement Project #00-21, 147 Avenue 'N.W. Street and Utility Construction <br />project in the amount of $3,592.52 on July 24, 2001. <br /> <br />That the City Council authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form <br />for this payment. <br /> <br />That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of <br />bills for the month of July, 2001. <br /> <br />4) <br /> <br />That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of this <br />resolution. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #01-0V- <br />Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br />-53- <br /> <br /> <br />
