Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br /> m so[uT O #0 -08-xxx <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF REPLACEMENT FAX MACHINE <br />AND TRANSFERRING $900.00 FROM THE EQUIPMENT REPLACEMENT FUND TO <br />GENERAL FUND <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at the Finance Committee of August 14, 2001,' staff presented a request for <br />the purchase of a replacement fax machine for the police department; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it has been determined that the replacement fax machine can be funded <br />from the Equipment Replacement Fund utilizing funding established from the outdated fax <br />machine; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this purchase would require a budget amendment to reallocate $900.00 <br />from the Equipment Replacement Fund to the General Fund. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1. The Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes the purchase of a replacement fax machine in the <br />amount not to exceed $1000.00. <br />2. The Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes a budget amendment to the General Fund from <br /> the Equipment Replacement Fund in the amount of $900.00. <br /> <br />The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and <br />upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />this the 14th day of August, 2001. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />City Administrator <br /> <br /> <br />
