-144- <br /> <br /> Councilmembcr introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #01-08-XXX <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING ANOKA AREA HOCKEY ASSOCIATION FOR A <br />PREMISE PERMIT FOR LAWFUL GAMBLING AT HOLM'S SUPER BOWL IN <br />RAMSEY <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Anoka Area Hockey Association has applied for a premise pe~Tnit for <br />gambling at Holm's Super Bowl, 6720 Riverdale Drive, Ramsey; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Anoka Area Hockey Association has requested Council waive the 30- <br />day notice provision; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Gambling Control Board Division of the Department of Gaming <br />requires the City of Ramsey adopt a resolution specifically approving or denying the application. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the Ramscy City Council hereby approves the premise permit application for the <br /> Anoka Area Hockey Association to operate lawful gambling at Holm's Super Bowl, 6720 <br /> Riverdale Drive, Ramsey. <br /> <br />2) That the Ramsey City Council agrees to waive the 30-day notice provision. <br /> <br />3) That the Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes the City Administrator or Finance <br /> Officer to sign the application and any other documents required by the Minnesota <br /> Gambling Control Board. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: -- <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />this the 28th day of August, 2001. <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />! <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br /> <br />
