-144- Councilmembcr introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #01-08-XXX RESOLUTION APPROVING ANOKA AREA HOCKEY ASSOCIATION FOR A PREMISE PERMIT FOR LAWFUL GAMBLING AT HOLM'S SUPER BOWL IN RAMSEY WHEREAS, the Anoka Area Hockey Association has applied for a premise pe~Tnit for gambling at Holm's Super Bowl, 6720 Riverdale Drive, Ramsey; and WHEREAS, the Anoka Area Hockey Association has requested Council waive the 30- day notice provision; and WHEREAS, the Gambling Control Board Division of the Department of Gaming requires the City of Ramsey adopt a resolution specifically approving or denying the application. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the Ramscy City Council hereby approves the premise permit application for the Anoka Area Hockey Association to operate lawful gambling at Holm's Super Bowl, 6720 Riverdale Drive, Ramsey. 2) That the Ramsey City Council agrees to waive the 30-day notice provision. 3) That the Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes the City Administrator or Finance Officer to sign the application and any other documents required by the Minnesota Gambling Control Board. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: -- and the following were absent: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 28th day of August, 2001.
