Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #01-08- RESOLUTION APPROVING 4TM PARTIAL PAYMENT TO FOREST LAKE CONTRACTING, INC. FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #99-51 (155/155TM AVENL~ N.W. EXTENSION) WHEREAS, on August 8, 2000, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #00-08- 191 authorizing plans and specifications and advertisement for bids on Improvement Project #99- 51; and WHEREAS, on November 14, 2000, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #00- 11-292 awarding the bid for Improvement Project #9%51, 153/155tn Avenue N.W. Extension to Forest Lake Contracting, Inc. in the amount of $716,399..48; and WHEREAS, City Engineer, Steve Jankowski has inspected the completed work and recommends the 4tn partial payment to Forest Lake Contracting, Inc. in the amount of $169,119.00. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby auth6rizes the-4t~ partial payment to Forest Lake Contracting, Inc. for Improvement Project #99-51, 153/155tn Avenue N.W. Extension project in the amount of $169,119.00. 2) That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. 3) That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills for the date of August 28, 2001. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a sig-ned copy of this resolution.
