I <br />,I <br /> I <br /> ! <br /> I <br /> ! <br /> I <br /> ! <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> ! <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br />I <br /> <br />Councilmember <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #01-08- <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT # RELATING TO A <br />REQUEST TO REZONE CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM INDUSTRIAL TO R-3 URBAN <br />RESIDENTIAL. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on July 10, 2001, the City of Ramsey (the "City") received an appliCation <br />from TSM Development, Inc. to rezone certain property in accordance with Section 9.03.03 <br />(Zoning Amendments) of the Ramsey City Code. <br /> <br />NOW THEI,LEFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />That TSM Development, Inc., hereinafter referred to as "Applicant," has properly applied <br />to rezone the following legally described property from Industrial to R-3. Urban <br />Residential: <br /> <br />Outlot A, Regency Pond, Anoka County, Minnesota <br />(the "Subject Property") <br /> <br />That the Planning Commission conducted a public hearing pursuant to Section 9.03.03 of <br />the City Code on August 7, 2001, and said public hearing was properly advertised, and the <br />minutes of said public heating are hereby incorporated by reference. <br /> <br />3. That the total area of the property to be rezoned is.4.77 acres in size. <br /> <br />That the proposed rezoning is located within the Metropolitan Urban Service Area (MUSA) <br />boundary. <br /> <br />That the Subject Property is currently zoned Industrial; the adjacent property to the east and <br />north is zoned R-1 Urban Residential; the property on the west side of Ramsey Blvd. N.W. <br />is zoned Industrial; the adjacent property F6-the south is zoned Industrial; and the property <br />on the south side of Industry Avenue (C.S.A.H. #116) is zoned Business Warehouse. <br /> <br />That the Applicant has submitted a general development plan that proposes to develop the <br />property with townhomes at a density that will not exceed the R-3 Urban Residential <br />maximum of 7 units per acre. <br /> <br />That the current Comprehensive Plan identifies the Subject Property for development with <br />industrial uses. <br /> <br />-299- <br /> <br /> <br />
