I I I I I I I I I I I I I I Councilmember adoption: introduced the following resolution and moved for its RESOLUTION #01-08- A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ISSUANCE OF A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT BASED ON FINDINGS OF FACT # AND DECLARING TERMS OF PERMIT TO EXCEED SIGN SIZE WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #01-08- Findings of Fact # for this use and herein approves the Conditional Use Permit. adopting NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THIS CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: That on , 2001, a Conditional Use Permit ("CUP") was issued by the City of Ramsey ("City") to M&G Leasing Inc., a Minnesota corporation, ("Permittee") to exceed the sign size requirement on the property generally known as 7575 Hwy. 10 and legally described as follows: All that part of Lots 2 and 3, Auditor's Subdivision Number 34, according to the map or plat thereof on file and of record in the offic, e of the County Recorder in and for Anoka County, Minnesota, lying Northwesterly of the following described line: Beginning at a point in the Northeasterly line of State Highway No. 10 which point is 585 feet Northwesterly from the Southeasterly comer of said Lot 3, measured along the Northeasterly line of said State Highway No. 10; thence Northeasterly to a point in the southwest line of the right-of-way of the Great Northern Railway Company, which point is 490 feet Northwesterly from the Northeast comer of said Lot 3, measured along the Southwesterly line of said Railway right-of-way, thence Northwesterly along the Southwesterly line of said Railway right-of-way, 495 feet to the point of beginning of the line to be described; thence Southerly to a point in the Northeasterly line of State Highway No. 10, which point is 400 feet from the point of beginning, said line there terminating. (Subject Property). This permit is issued pursuant to Section 9.03.04 of the Ramsey City Code. The conditions of this permit are as follows: ' ' The Permit-tee is herein granted permission to erect a freestanding pylon sign with a business identification sign surface area not to exceed'180 square feet on each side. None of the individual tenant identification spaces on the pylon sign shall exceed 100 square feet in size on each side. 2. The freestanding pylon sign may not exceed the 25-foot height restriction. -327-
