I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I WHEREAS, on June 26, 2001, the City Council rezoned the Subject Property from R-1 Rural Residential to Rq Urban Residential; and WHEREAS, on July 12, 2001, the Planning Commission conducted a public hearing, tabled any action on the request for preliminary plat approval, and directed the Developer to meet with City Staff to search for alternate street alignments that reduce the traffic impacts on adjacent neighborhoods; and WHEREAS, on August 7, 2001, City Staff presented four (4) street alignment options (A, B, C, and D) to the Planning Commission for review and the Planning Commission recommended that Option B be presented to the City Council for approval; and WHEREAS, on August 28, 2001, Option B was presented to the City Council for approval and the City Council requested that City Staff schedule an additional public hearing in front of the City Council; and WHEREAS, on September 11, 2001, the City Council conducted a preliminary plat public hearing for Centex Homes. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY' THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby grants preliminary plat approval to Centex Homes. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was .duly seconded by Councilmember __ __ and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the . day of September, 2001.
