Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT # LATING TO A <br />REQUEST FROM CHARLES LIND FOR A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO <br />EXCEED THE MAXIMUM ACCESSORY STRUCTURE SPACE REQUIREMENTS. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Charles Lind, hereinafter referred to as the "Applicant," have properly <br />applied for a Conditional Use Permit to exceed the maximum accessory structure space footage <br />restrictions on the property generally known as 14331 Armstrong Boulevard NW and legalty <br />described as follows: <br /> <br />Lot 2, Block 2, Alpaca Estates 3ra Addition, Anoka County, Minnesota <br /> <br />("Subject Property") <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THIS CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA that the findings of fact relating <br />to the request are determined to be as follows: <br /> <br />That the Applicant appeared before the Planning Commission for a public hearing pursuant <br />to Section 9.03.04 of the Ramsey City Code on August 7, 2001, and that said public hearing <br />was properly advertised and that the minutes of said public hearing are hereby incorporated <br />by reference. <br /> <br />2. That the Subject Property, is approximately 2.5-acres in size. <br /> <br />That Section 9.11.02 (Accessory Uses), Sub& 12 (Size Restrictions and Performance <br />Standards ibr Accessory Buildings in Residential Districts) allows up to 3 accessory <br />buildings not exceeding a total of 2,064 square feet on the Subject Property. <br /> <br />4. That there is a 1,792 square foot attached garage currently existing on the property. <br /> <br />5. That the Subject Property is eligible for an additional 272 square feet of accessory structure <br /> space. <br /> <br />That the Applicants are proposing to add a detached garage measuring ~ 'P <br /> ~,_00 square feet to <br />the Subject Property, which will result in a 2,928 square foot overage in the amount of <br />accessory structure space permitted. <br /> <br />That the Applicant has stated that the accessory building will be for storage of three <br />commercial vehicles and several other personal vohicles and equipment in order to alleviate <br />off-street parking violations. <br /> <br />That the Applicant has stated that a commercial business will not be conducted in the <br />building. <br /> <br /> 9.
