Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #01-09- A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ISSUANCE OF A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO CHARLES LIND TO EXCEED THE lVlAXIMUM ACCESSORY STRUCTURE SQUARE FOOTAGE RESTRICTIONS ON THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT. 14331 ARMSTRONG BOULEVARD BASED ON FINDINGS OF FACT # AND DECLARING TEILrvlS OF SAME: WHEREAS, Charles Lind, hereinafter referred to as the "Applicant," has properly applied for a Conditional Use Permit to exceed the allowable accessory structure square footage restrictions established in City Code on the property generally known as 14331 Armstrong Blvd. and legally described as follows: Lot 2, Block 2, Alpaca Estates 3rd Addition, Anoka County, Minnesota ("Subject Property") WHEREAS, the Planning Commission met on August 7, 2001, conducted the public hearing and recommended that the City Council deny the request; and whereas, the City Council met on August 28, 2001 and adopted findings of tact favorable to the Applicant NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THIS CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: Based on Findings of Fact # , a conditional use permit (Permit) to exceed maximum accessory structure square footage restrictions established in City Code, is hereby granted to Charles Lind, hereinafter referred to as the "Permittee" That the Permittee is allowed to have a maximum of 4,992 square feet of accessory structure space on the Subject Property. That the construction of a new detached accessory building shall not exceed 3,200 square feet in size and shall require issuance of a building permit from the City of Ramsey. 4. That the exterior materials shall include vinyl s/3ing that will compliment the color and character of the principal building and the accessory structure will be finished with an asphalt-shingled roof. 5. That the construction of the accessory structure shall be completed by September 14, 2002, which shall include application of exterior materials. -204- I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I
