Norman, City Administrator

Background:

Staff has worked in the past with a property owner along the Elk PAver boundary for possible
development north of Highway #10. The property owner recently brought a project forward to
develop the area between the Highway #10 frontage businesses and the vacant property north of
the railroad tracks. In order to make a comprehensive development plan for the entire area, it
becomes necessary for the City involved to work with property owners along Highway #10. The
project may entail acquisition of underutilized highway frontage businesses in order to bring
about a quality development project.

Staff will discuss the matter in more detail during the EDA meeting.

Commission Action:

Based upon discussion.

't

Reviewed by:

City Administrator

EDA: 08/20/01

IIRA_FS/ll/OLiluserslCiO, Shared FildAGENDA COUNCIL & COMMISStON~EDAlMinn-DakO8200].doc 08/17/01

-247-
