Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #OI-09-XXX RESOLUTION APPROVING 1ST PARTIAL PAYMENT TO NORTH VALLEY, INC. FOR 2001 STREET MAINTENANCE PROGRAM - DIVISION B (IP #01-12 - 01-16) WHEREAS, on May 22, 2001, the Ramsey City Council authorized plans and specifications and advertisement for bids on 2001 Street Maintenance Program- Division B; and WHEREAS, on July 24, 2001, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #01-07-253 awarding the bid for Improvement Street Maintenance Program - Division B to North Valley Inc. amount of $213,639.19; and WHEREAS, City Engineer, Steve Jankowski has inspected the completed work and recommends partial payment to North Valley, Inc. in the amount of $182,237.34. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to North Valley, Inc. for Improvement Project 2001 Street Maintenance Program - Division B in the amount of $182,237.34. 2) That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. 3) That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills for the date of September 25, 2001. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of this resolution.
