I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I Councilmember adoption: introduced the following resolution and moved for its RESOLUTION #01-98- A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ISSUANCE OF A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT BASED ON FINDINGS OF FACT # AND DECLARING TERMS OF PERMIT TO EXCEED WALL SIGN SQUARE FOOTAGE AND HEIGHT RESTRICTIONS. WHEREAS, Blue Line Collision Center properly applied for a conditional use permit to exceed wall sign square footage and height restrictions as established in City Code on the property generally known as 6260 State Highway #10 and legally described as follows: Lot 9, Auditor's Subdivision No. 96, According to the recorded plat thereof and situated in Anoka County, Minnesota. (Subject Property). WHEREAS, the Planning Commission met on September 4, 2001, conducted the public hearing and recommended city Council approval of the request. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THIS CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF P,,AMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1. Based on Findings of Fact # ., a conditional use permit ("Permit") to exceed wall sign square footage and height restrictions is hereby granted to Blue Line Collision Center ("Permittees"). 2. The Permittee is herein granted permission to erect a wall sign surface area not to exceed 133.5 square feet in size and shall not extend more than 3 feet beyond the building parapet. 3. The wall sign shall be constructed on the front of the building and wrap around to one side of the building. 4. The existing wall sign and roof billboard sign must be removed from the property prior to issuance of a sign permit. 5. The Permittee and its successors or assigns, herein forfeit all rights for further wall signs, other than address numbers. 6. The installation of the wall sign on the Subject Property shall require a sign permit from the City of Ramsey. 7. The Permittee is responsible for obtaining all other sign permits required by Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDot). -293-
