A~i~. Barthold s request, the subject property <br />was part of a comPrehensive Pla~i::a~en~dm. ent~ff~d in 1993 by the City of Ramsey for a <br />MUSA boundary eXiS~iion. B~':~h~~'~ hdment was approved b.,y Metro Council in <br />1995, a porti%n of Mr."Ei~I~ s property, W~h is the subject of today s request, was n,ot <br />included Lri"~'"~':~SA bodnd~?expansion exhibit. The fact that this portion of Mr. Barthold s <br />property is;'n~t''''ii~'~fhe iMUSA:'~e~:~o light during the preliminary plat review of Apple Ridge <br />(ensUing. phases named Pd'ver pih~;)iin 1997. The preliminary plat was modified to eliminate <br />thiS portion of Mr. Bartholg, s propei'ty. Therefore, the current Comprehensive Plan retains this <br />property for single familY:r.&idential uses at rural standards. If the City is inclined to grant the <br />rezoningi', i! would have ~t0ii!be conditioned upon an amendment to the current Comprehensive <br />Plan to include the Sub}6ct property in the MUSA boundary. The March 2001 Draf~ <br />comprehenSiX, ePlart proPOses to include the subject property in the next MUSA expansion.
