We understand that Verizon Wireless has requested approval to locate an antenna on the newly constructed water tower. In previous 'conversations with the City Engineer, we were told that a mezzanine would be constructed, within the tower, to house telecommunications equipment for attached antennas. In fact, when Connexus Energy donated that land to the city for the future construction of a water tower, no mention was made of adding multiple buildings to the site for such a purpose. We had specific conversations regarding the issue because part of the conditions included a designated space for Connexus' own antenna attachment. Please share our opposition, to. allowing multiple telecommunication huts 'to occupy that property, with the Planning and Zoning Commission and the City Council. i W6'uld be happy to voice our opposition in person, should that become necessary.
