Kapler: City Engineer Brian Olson City Attorney William Goodrich Police Chief David Gustafson CALL TO ORDER - - Mayor Gamec called' 'the regular meeting or. the City Council to order at 7:05 p.m. and called upon Councitmember Zimnien~an to lead in the Pledge. of Allegiance to the Flag. CITIZEN. INPUT. _-~--' ~:. Atena Hunter, 121628 Helium' st~eet'~W~ Ramsey, noted that she wanted to comment during Case #8. She stated that during the Happy Days Parade there will be an enormous and attractive youth First Float, and wanted to recognize the people that had put together the float. At the August28~ City Council meeting Ms. Hunter addressed the Council in regard to the Chicago tour. She Wanted to correct :an.editorial comment that was made by Councilmember Hendr/ksen during the council update on-QCTV. Mr. Hendriksen claimed that after Ms. Hunter thanked the City for a nice_'thp, she preceded to criticize Councilmember Zimmerman for not attending the trip. She felt that Mr. Hendr/ksen should have listened more closely to what she had actually said which was:She missed Councilmember Zimmerman and that it would have been beneficial if he could havebeen there. Brent.Smith, 15620 Yakima Street NW, Ramsey, stated that one reason transcripts are not heard in court is because presentation and body language has to be taken into account.
